Surrey based virtual driving experience venue Lets Race will be once again be hosting its popular Lets Race Touring Car Championship offering one lucky driver the chance to win VIP access to the final round of the BTCC Championship at Brands Hatch and meet British driver Tom Chilton.

The event, which replicates the tracks raced in the British Touring Car Championship, is back for its second season in 2017 and features six rounds that will span five months. The contest is open to solo drivers and races will take place on the last Friday of every month starting on Friday 31st March from 7.00pm. Twenty driver places are available for each round, which will see racers go head to head in a test of skill and speed on the venue’s full motion simulators to win one of three fantastic prizes.

Each round, drivers will be randomly divided into two groups of ten and will take part in a 10-minute qualifying session to determine their starting position followed by three ten minute races to accumulate points. The top five drivers will then have the chance to collect extra points in a further 10-minute race with winners from each round being announced on the podium.

The driver who collects the most points across all six rounds will be declared the Lets Race Touring Car Champion 2017. The champion will be awarded with the top place prize of VIP Access to the final round of the BTCC Championship at Brands Hatch for themselves and one guest, including pit lane access and the chance to meet Tom Chilton and his team, and explore the garage. Two further prizes will also be up for grabs for drivers who place second – a practice session and race experience for 10 at Lets Race – and third – a race experience for 10 at Lets Race.
