The Entertainer has announced a major relaunch of the iconic construction toy Meccano, with the exclusive arrival of 22 sets across four reimagined ranges, marking 125 years of the British brand and engineering excellence.

Available to shop online now via www.thetoyshop.com, the new product drop celebrates more than a century of engineering heritage, introducing four distinct ranges for fans of all ages:

Meccano Makers (age 3+)
Meccano Builders (age 5+)
Meccano Masters (age 10+)
Meccano Pro (age 16+)

Featuring large chunky parts and specialised tools perfect for tiny hands, the Meccano Makers range introduces children to the world of construction with beginner-friendly plastic sets designed for ages 3+ and includes two new products: the 5-in-1 Mega Set, which allows curious constructors to build five different creations out of 78 pieces, and the 2-in-1 Race Car, perfect for encouraging imaginative play.

Meanwhile, bigger kids aged 5+ with growing, curious minds can explore engineering with the Meccano Builders range, which features larger, interchangeable plastic pieces and offers more complex builds, such as the 3-in-1 Pull Back Buggy and the 151-piece Free Play Bucket, which enables children to assemble, disassemble and reassemble using their imagination, offering endless play possibilities.

One of the most significant new launches is the Meccano Masters range, designed specifically for tweens and teens aged 10+. Featuring real metal parts, motors, rubber tyres and tools, these advanced sets offer a more challenging building experience and a gateway to real-world engineering through screen-free play. Including everything from space sets and supercars to motorcycles and more, the range offers multi-build sets with up to 25 creations in one, as well as three new Mini Makes and a giant Maker’s Toolbox, featuring a whopping 437 pieces and an iconic Meccano toolbox to keep parts organised.

Grown-up fans aren’t left behind either, with the introduction of advanced engineering sets through the Meccano Pro range, designed for serious builders, hobbyists and adult collectors aged 16+. Featuring collaborations with some of the world’s most recognisable automotive brands, the Pro range includes the 1,203-piece Aston Martin Aramco F1 Race Car, as well as the iconic Ducati Monster motorbike. Using premium metal and intricate designs, the range offers enthusiasts limitless opportunities to showcase their engineering skills with an authentic construction experience, rewarding builders with display-worthy models.

Alongside new and reimagined products, the relaunch features a refreshed logo and packaging, complementing the classic sets and familiar components that have made Meccano popular for the last century.

Addo Play, the product design and distribution arm of The Entertainer, has also redesigned Meccano’s notoriously complex instructions to make building simpler, clearer and more rewarding with intuitive step-by-step guidance, colour-coded visuals and progress markers that allow builders to follow every construction stage easily.
