Free Car Mag are sad to report that Range Rovers are no longer farm friendly hose down interiored work horses, but it has been that way for some time. They are perfect though for special editions. Read on…

More than half a century ago, Range Rover defined the luxury SUV, and has led by example ever since. The new Range Rover SV Burford Edition embodies this principle; the limited run of 10 special vehicles inspired by the Cotswolds, has design cues from the calm and beautiful British countryside, offers superior driver and passenger comfort and delivers elevated character whether on sweeping country roads, or in the heart of the city.

Incorporating a bespoke colour palette inspired by England’s largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Burford Edition is also thoroughly modern and reductive. Burford, from where this limited-edition model takes its name, is known as the gateway to the Cotswolds, and is synonymous with luxury rural lifestyle.

Created from the Range Rover SV P615 V8 Long Wheelbase, the Burford Edition exterior features bespoke details including an Aether Grey body colour with satin finish and distinctive metal script badging.  The two-tone interior of Light Cloud and Cinder Grey is crafted from advanced woven textiles offering a desirable, luxury alternative to leather. Co-ordinating scatter cushions contribute to ultimate passenger comfort for clients who prefer to be driven. Special guests will be invited to an exclusive Range Rover House preview and brand event in the Cotswolds in April at Daylesford Organic.

The Burford Edition is a curation of Range Rover’s SV Bespoke commissioning house, which offers clients enhanced levels of personalisation and refinement. Reserved exclusively for Range Rover Autobiography and SV clients, the SV Bespoke service offers an in-depth consultation and creation process which provides access to unique materials, finishes and personalisation options to suit their individual tastes and lifestyle.

Supported by the SV Bespoke paint shop and facilities in the factory at Solihull, clients can also work with Range Rover’s in-house designers to curate their own colour and trim themes as showcased in Range Rover SV’s limited Lansdowne and Burford editions, which take inspiration from the world around them to create a truly unique aesthetic.

We’re immensely proud to offer this highly desirable and rare limited edition to our most discerning UK clients. The Burford Edition builds on Range Rover’s exclusivity and luxury, and captures the essence of the Cotswolds – one of the most beautiful locations in the UK and the heartland of Range Rover Patrick McGillycuddy Managing Director, JLR (UK)
