With recent reports showing the number of families ‘staycationing’ in the UK continuing to rise, BCA is anticipating a big turnout of buyers for the next specialised caravan and motorhome sale at the Nottingham auction centre.

The sale is on 12 April and is the biggest ever staged at BCA’S Nottingham centre, with over 100 motorhomes and caravans on offer including a large selection from Black Horse and vehicles from WeBuyAnyLeisureVehicle.com.

Vehicles on offer include a 2018 Swift Select 2.3 164, coachbuilt motorhome in blue that has covered just over 200 warranted miles. With a wood effect interior, grey and cream leather seats, fixed bed, kitchen and washroom, this superb nearly-new example will attract a lot of attention from buyers.

The Auto-Trail Tribute 2.3 680, 5 door coachbuilt motorhome was registered in March of this year. Finished in metallic silver with black trim, this two berth conversion has air conditioning and a well designed interior.

The 2017-registered Elddis Autoquest 2.2 195 coachbuilt 4-berth motorhome features air conditioning, a well-specified kitchen, TV and washroom. This motorhome has only covered 1,600 miles since being registered a year ago and is in superb condition. A wide selection of coachbuilt motorhomes by Adria, Bailey, Bessacar and Swift are also consigned for sale.

The Airstream Basecamp on offer at BCA Nottingham is a modern take on the classic Airstream aerodynamic design, with an aluminium outer shell and clever compact interior. Lightweight and towable with a family 4×4 or SUV, this versatile trailer caravan comfortably seats five and sleeps two. Other caravans on offer include examples from Elddis, Fleetwood, Hymer, Lunar, Sprite and Swift.

Among the LCV conversions on offer, the 1997 Cockburn Holdsworth 2.4 Vista campervan, based on the VW T4, offers a lot of potential. Finished in grey and white with blue detailing and wood effect interior, this 2-berth van is very well presented despite having covered 165,000 miles.

BCA spokesman Tim Naylor commented “With relatively limited opportunities to buy caravans and motorhomes at auction, BCA’s sales at the Nottingham centre regularly attracts large crowds of buyers. With recent reports suggesting that many families are considering staying in the UK and taking short breaks this year, it suggests that many see a caravan or motorhome as a good value investment for this year’s holiday and for the years ahead.”

He added “This next sale offers a wide selection of vehicles to suit every budget and all are welcome to attend and bid. Log onto BCA’s website to see a full catalogue of the entry, with many vehicles offered with a BCA Assured mechanical report carried out by the AA.”

The sale begins at midday on Thursday 12 April at BCA Nottingham. BCA Nottingham offers ample on-site parking, undercover viewing and well lit seated auction halls. There is a cafeteria on site serving a range of hot and cold food and beverages all day. BCA provides a competitively valued delivery service to any location if required

BCA Nottingham is located at 2 Teal Close, Victoria Business Park, Netherfield, Nottingham, NG4 2PE.
