Luckily the talk show host and inveterate car collector is safe and sound. It is one hell of crash though and because it was a racing car with a roll cage and both had a full harness and helmets, no harm was done.

This all means that the brilliant Jay Leno’s Garage is back on the telly soon and much better than the really rather boring Top Gear, which so far has not had any real car crashes, just on screen clashes of personality and lots of shouting from Chris Evans.
