Our chums at The Motoring Podcast are in the middle of doing something rather important, checking to see if an electric vehicle could get the average motorist around Britain without running out of lecky, or it taking a month to complete.

They are using a Hyundai Ioniq EV, an ‘affordable’ electric car at £25,000 with a 150 mile range and relying on nothing more than their AA Rescue membership if something goes awry. They left Ormskirk in the early hours of Monday 28th August and are returning on Saturday 2nd September and will have travelled via Land’s End and John’O’Groats.

You can find them podcasting, tweeting and videocasting the whole adventure.
