As Father’s Day is approaching, 15th June, here is the perfect present from Orient Star. They have added two new models to the Contemporary Collection’s Layered Skeleton series: a regular model with a champagne gold-coloured dial evoking the seaside, and a limited-edition mint green model with a limited release of 700 pieces. The sophisticated design makes this the ideal watch to pair with summer outfits for Father’s Day.
Layered Skeleton takes its inspiration from business suits and features an original dial composed of two layers. The semi-skeleton opening on the dial is paisley shaped, and the open-work design of the power reserve display also reveals the inner workings of the mechanical movement, giving the watch dial an eye-catching look.
The latest model in the series uses refreshing colours while adding a carefree Mediterranean atmosphere to the dials to express the ambience and sophistication of the coast. The beautiful
tonal gradation of the dial’s two layers and enhanced sense of depth pairs beautifully with the refined, casual grace of Mediterranean style.
The new regular Layered Skeleton model gives an elegant impression by combining a champagne gold-coloured dial evoking rays of coastal sunshine with a grey calf leather strap.
Meanwhile, the limited-edition model of 700 pieces feels active and youthful with its mint green dial reminiscent of a fresh breeze over the blue ocean, and a stainless steel (SUS316L) metal
bracelet with five-piece links arranged in short pitches.
The mechanical automatic in-house calibre F6F44 movement offers a 50-hour power reserve and stable high accuracy of +25 seconds to –15 seconds per day. The new dial colours add a
stylish flair to the Layered Skeleton’s highly sophisticated timekeeping mechanism complete with Orient Star’s power reserve indicator. The limited release mint green model is engraved
with a limited-edition serial number on the see-through case back, enhancing the special feel of the watch.
