This is very pleasing, Twisted Automotive will showcase its stunning re-engineered Land Rover Defender vehicles – including a unique Stage One V8 – at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show.
The North Yorkshire-based company will display two vehicles, offering the first opportunity to check out a Stage One V8 released as part of the ‘Remake History’ series on January 29th. The Fuji White build will boast the new Rostyle wheel, a Series V8 hip stripe and a newly developed front bumper – the first time all three features have been added to the same vehicle.
Visitors to the Twisted stand – number 2230 in Hall 2 – will also be able to see a modern interpretation of Twisted’s Series II, complete with roof rack, ski holder and a winch.
The Geneva International Motor Show takes place between March 7-17 at Palexpo Arena. Around 150 world and European debuts are expected, from electric cars to brand new releases.
The Twisted team will be on hand to offer an insight into what goes into producing their vehicles, in addition to discussing the recent release of Remake History, the penultimate batch of delivery mileage Defender that were released on January 29th this year, three years since the end of production. The 45 vehicles were bought shortly before production ceased in 2016, and will be re-engineered throughout the coming years. Build slots for each series were made available to order in January and some of the rare colours were immediately reserved.
These are among the final brand-new vehicles available worldwide. The collection comprises high specification, limited edition vehicles, including the Series II, Series IIA, Lightweight, Series III and Stage One V8. Each has been hand-picked and will be adapted and built to a pre-determined spec that has all the key elements which encompasses Twisted – from comfort and performance to incredible handling on and off-road.
Twisted Automotive specialises in taking the iconic Land Rover Defender and re-engineering it into being the best vehicle it can be, while retaining the identity and heritage of the original.
