According to Uber, “self-driving cars have been picking up and dropping off riders on the streets of Pittsburgh for the last 3 months, and now we’re excited to bring them to our hometown of San Francisco. Ready to take a ride in a Self-Driving Uber?”
Well one issue is that this is not federally approved, car companies need permits to test autonomous vehicles. Even though there is a human driver (Uber’s justification for not getting approval) he/she either did not or could stop this Uber cab running a red light. The robot car wars is getting closer…
