Our favourite sports car: Ford Mustang, check. Our favourite girl band: Little Mix, double check. Well here’s the bestest music video for some considerable time which you can enjoy below.

Matching the hottest property in pop with the world’s best-selling sports car doesn’t take too much thinking about – especially when it’s in a video for a song called “Power”.

And that’s exactly what Little Mix wanted for the new single from their chart-topping album Glory Days. Filmed on location in Los Angeles, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 shares centre stage with Leigh-Anne, Jesy, Jade and Perrie as they sing the virtues of women being in control.

“The Mustang was amazing! Sexy and cool with a beautiful interior,” said the band who can be seen singing and dancing alongside the iconic model.

Little Mix are currently midway through the European leg of a world tour of 17 countries, playing in the UK between June 23 and September 3. Appearances so far have included dates in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and France.

First launched in 1964, the iconic Mustang is embedded in popular culture with more than 3,800 movie appearances alone, as well as being namechecked in numerous songs. It is on sale across Europe in both fastback and convertible bodystyles.

“Mustang is a car with true star quality and an in-built ability to turn heads,” said Greg Dawson, vice president Communications and Public Affairs, Ford of Europe. “We loved the idea that one of our Mustangs would appear in Little Mix’s new video and were only too happy to help.”
