Here’s the only book you will read in defence of the motorist and the car this year and quite possibly any year at this rate. Buy it before it is banned.
The evidence that the average motorist has suffered from being overtaxed by government, mislead by cheating car manufacturers and bullied by pressure groups is overwhelming.
This is not quite definitive history of how parking became an industry, governments overtaxed motorists, carmakers lied about how safe and environmentally friendly they were and tested their emissions on monkeys and humans. Also why robot cars are so dangerous and electric cars are not the answer. Plus, who is behind the ongoing plan to Demotorize the world.
What you won’t read in the book are any answers from motorists organisations like the AA and RAC who are supposed to represent them. Political parties are also notable by their absence from the question and answer section at the end of the book. Maybe they were scared. Perhaps they didn’t get the emails or the voice mail messages. Never mind, at least a few others bothered.
It isn’t perfect, but it does actually stick up for drivers which has become a rather unfashionable thing to do. There are some daft jokes between the pages and several silly cartoons, so it isn’t all doom and gloom. There is a lot to be positive about. Cars have been making our lives better for generations and this should be recognised and appreciated. Demotorized attempts to do this and put the record sort of straight.
