La La Land Sweeps the Golden Globes

If you wondered why we had La La Land on our cover, well we knew it was going to be a staggeringly successful film. Indeed, it has dominated the Golden Globes. We have even found that there is a unique watch angle to the film too.

In addition to best director and best screenplay, “La La Land” swept the 74th Golden Globe Awards with best comedy picture, best score, best song and best actor nods to Ryan Gosling and
Emma Stone.
By winning the Golden Globe for comedy picture, “La La Land” attained its seventh win, surpassing the record of six awards held by “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” (1975) and
“Midnight Express” (1978).
