We spoke to the Goblin Works Garage recently and they were a breath of fresh air. Read the full interview in Issue 55.

75 years ago, Goblin – a great British engineering company – was launched, but was forced to close in 1981. Now Jimmy DeVille, engineer, adventurer, petrolhead and former soldier, is bringing the business back to life, in the brand new series, GOBLIN WORKS GARAGE.

Joining Jimmy on his quest to create made-to-measure machines for the world’s coolest clients is Ant Partridge, a veteran custom bike designer and builder, and Helen Stanley, the renowned custom car designer, who established the Skulls and Pistons garage.

This is a custom business with attitude. Forget your plastic fantastic, mass produced ride – GOBLIN WORKS GARAGE is different. They don’t make cars for everyone – they make cars and bikes that are truly unique.

Jimmy and his team are bringing the spirit of bespoke design back to life, building one of a kind custom cars and bikes using artisan skills and design, that no one else is doing.

Nestled in the English countryside, the team showcase their incredible skills and unrivalled knowledge to create engineering masterpieces for motoring afficiandos who want to ride in style.

From transplanting massive power plants into micro coupes, to turning classic cars into modern beasts, these builds are not for the faint hearted.

Watch as the team go to work on all manner of retro rides including a K3 Capri, Chevrolet Apache 1958, Datsun 290Z, MK 2 Escort, Series 2 Landover and a MGB Roadster.

GOBLIN WORKS GARAGE premieres exclusively in the UK on Quest, 9pm, Thursday 11th January (Freeview channel number 37)
